Community outreach programs are our way of giving back to the world. When Bart started Speak America, he made a promise to himself and others that he would give more than he would receive. Upon returning from an outreach program in Kenya, Bart quantified his goal — to give one million people their voice! Community outreach programs we support include working with non-profits, youth organizations, charities and churches.

The Let Your Life Speak Foundation is an integral part of Bart's vision for giving one million people their voice. Bart's vision for the foundation started more than 10 years ago in a remote village of Kenya. Fast forward to May 2019 where Bart has awarded three scholarships during the first National Youth Speak Competition in Raleigh.

In 2017 Bart formed a faith-based ministry called Out of the Winepress Ministries. The ministry name comes from Judges 6:11 where Gideon, son of Joash, was threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress to hide the grain from the Midianites. This verse has been the inspiration to become mighty warriors for God through the Winepress Ministry. This ministry helps youth and adults learn how to confidently communicate their testimony and life story, and to share their experience of faith in a compelling manner that helps transform their lives and the lives of others.

Now is the time for you to set your fears, doubts and unbelief aside. Now is the time to bridge the gap. Now is the time to become the change and hope you desire. We sincerely believe we comfort those with the comfort we've been comforted with.

In December 2017, Bart had the opportunity to visit and experience first-hand the ongoing ministries at the John Foundation in Secuderabad, India.  During a week-long stay Bart was able to train more than 200 staff, youth and ministers in sharing their faith boldly and confidently. Bart is looking forward to the opportunity to return to India in the fall of 2018 where he hopes to continues his community outreach services in support of the John Foundation.
